Earlier this year, prominent entrepreneur Maksym Krippa took over the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF), receiving unanimous support from all regional representatives involved in the organization.
In a conversation with Forbes, Krippa outlined his ambitions as the new head of UESF and shared his roadmap for enhancing the Federation’s role in the country’s esports ecosystem.
It was previously reported that Krippa had been expanding his real estate ventures. He recently partnered with DIM, one of Kyiv’s largest development companies, which described their cooperation as mutually beneficial on its official website.
UESF Won’t Act as a Bureaucratic Regulator – Krippa
Krippa clarified that he doesn’t intend for UESF to become a rigid regulatory body. Despite the ongoing war with Russia, his vision involves building a streamlined framework for organizing esports tournaments in Ukraine. He aims to simplify communication between the Federation, the Ministry, and the gaming community, minimizing red tape and administrative delays.

As the owner of NAVI, one of the most successful esports teams in the world, Krippa also emphasized the importance of fostering esports education. He believes schools, colleges, and universities should actively promote digital sports. To that end, educational initiatives are being developed to ignite interest among young people and integrate esports into the academic environment.
One of Krippa’s top priorities is to showcase Ukraine as a global esports hub. He wants to elevate the country’s presence on the international stage by helping Ukrainian pro gamers become household names in the worldwide community.
