The well-known Ukrainian entrepreneur Maksym Krippa, who also owns the esports club NAVI, intends to expand his influence in Kyiv’s real estate sector by acquiring control over the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has approved the acquisition by the Cyprus-based company Citadel Ventures Cyprus Limited, whose beneficiary is Krippa himself, of a controlling stake in A.T.V.T. Business Expo Holdings Ltd — the owner of 50.04% of the charter capital of LLC “International Exhibition Center.”

The press service of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine officially announced this.

The IEC is the largest exhibition venue in Ukraine, holding leading positions in Kyiv and throughout the country. By the end of 2024, the enterprise showed significant growth: revenue increased by 71.4%, reaching 83 million hryvnias, while net loss decreased threefold to 7.1 million hryvnias. The total area of the complex exceeds 73,000 square meters, with about 39,000 square meters occupied by exhibition halls located in four pavilions. This facility is strategically vital for developing the capital’s business and cultural infrastructure and strengthening Kyiv’s position on the international stage. Plans include modernizing the center’s infrastructure to meet current market demands.

About Maksym Krippa

Maksym Volodymyrovych Krippa was born in Kyiv on August 11, 1977. He holds three higher education degrees in business administration, organizational management, and law. He began his career in the early 2000s in telecommunications, leading the company “Ukrainian Mobile TeleSystems” — the official dealer of Kyivstar GSM.

Later, his interests focused on IT and investments in digital projects. In 2022, he officially acquired the esports organization Natus Vincere. In 2023, he owned the game development studio GSC Game World, known for the popular S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Additionally, he owns the broadcasting studio Maincast and founded the charitable foundation MK Foundation, which actively supports military personnel and civilians during wartime.

Real estate in Kyiv: acquisitions and plans

In 2023, Maksym Krippa owned the Parus business center, which previously belonged to Vadym Stolar. Although the official transaction amount was not disclosed, experts estimate it to be approximately 100 million USD. The total value of Krippa’s real estate portfolio in Kyiv may exceed 200 million USD.

In September 2024, the entrepreneur acquired the Ukraine hotel, located on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, through the company Ola Fine, which he fully controls. The property is valued at about 2.5 billion hryvnias excluding VAT and over 3 billion hryvnias including taxes.

The purchase of the hotel came with obligations: the new owner must maintain the facility’s functions, pay off existing debts to employees and the budget, and refrain from mass layoffs for at least six months. The hotel has 16 floors, more than 300 rooms, and well-developed infrastructure. In public statements, Maksym Krippa did not rule out the possibility of further transforming the hotel into a representation of one of the prestigious international luxury brands.
